Geelong moved to what is now known as Skilled Stadium from its former home ground – Corio Oval in 1941. Since then the ground has played host to the Cats' most successful eras with premierships in 1951 and 52 as well as four grand final appearances between 1989 and 1995. The Melbourne Cricket Ground is Australia's sporting Mecca and considered the Home of Football.
