Mathew Stokes and Trent West return to Geelong’s line up to face Collingwood at the MCG on Friday.

Stokes missed last week’s win over Richmond after accepting a one match ban from the clash with the Lions. West played the first five rounds of the season before making way for Shane Mumford. He returns after three solid weeks in the VFL.

Max Rooke and Mumford are the unfortunate pair to make way. With the Cats having the smallest injury list in the AFL, places are at a premium.

The Cats played Collingwood twice last season, with both games among the best of the 2007 season.

In round 15, Geelong prevailed by 16 points in front of 85,497, while on preliminary final night the Cats held on to win by five points with 98,002 in attendance. Friday’s contest should again draw in excess of 80,000.
