As expected, the younger Ablett was given more opportunities in 2007 and, while he is still a work in progress, he finished the year a premiership player. Had some particularly good games and kicked three goals on the biggest day of all to confirm he is a star of the future. Still raw but has all the attributes to hold down a key forward position.
