Outlook
Once again the lion-hearted midfielder turned in some sterling performances, maintaining the consistency fans have come to expect from one of Geelong’s most experienced leaders. Individually, he achieved several highlights when he captained the Cats to the NAB Cup premiership while Tom Harley was injured and he celebrated his 200th game in round 21. Regularly shut down the opposition’s best on-ballers and was effective in curbing St Kilda’s Nick Dal Santo in the Grand Final after the Saints star threatened early in the game.
