Geelong has welcomed back Trent West, Mathew Stokes and Shannon Byrnes for its clash with Collingwood on Easter Thursday at the MCG.

Stokes missed last weekend’s win over Richmond with general soreness, while Byrnes has been an emergency over the opening two rounds and has played well at VFL level.

West comes in for injured ruckman Brad Ottens. West played six games in 2008 when Ottens was also injured and he also played three NAB Cup matches during this year’s pre season.

Debutante Simon Hogan will miss after pulling up sore and Ryan Gamble will go back to the VFL.
